Roger Roy 1952 - 2007 Roger Roy, 55, of Riverview, NB, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Marie Young. Roger was an active member of the Victory Life Centre (Riverview) and worked for several years at the Atlantic Superstore (Riverview). He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. Roger will be sadly missed by his very dear friend, Ginette Allain of St-Antoine and by his immediate family members; Jeanne (André) Vachet of Montreal, Ronald Roy of Cocagne, Normand Roy (Josette Goguen) of Cocagne, Maurice (Paulette) Roy of St-Louis-de-Kent, Phyllis Roy of Shediac, Clarence Young, Betty (Léo) Richard, Jim Young, John Young, all of Cocagne. He was predeceased by Eugene Roy. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Le Passage, Shediac Bridge, from 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday, October 30 and on Wednesday, October 31 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service will take place at Le Passage Funeral Home Chapel at 4 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2007. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Cardiac Unit, Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice. The family would like to express their gratitude to doctors and nurses from the Intensive Care Unit (Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont) for all their devotion and professionalism. To all of you, we thank you.
