Bruce Andrew Meredith (February 17, 1961- October 27, 2007) Sarnia ON, Bruce died at age 46 surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband and best friend of Anne (nee McLean) and proud father, of Kyra and Grace. Loving son, of Marion and the late Gilbert Meredith, Moncton, NB. Dear brother, of Mary (Gary Worth), Burnaby, BC and Gilbert (Judy), Riverview, NB. Son-in-law of Joyce McLean and brother-in-law of Donald McLean (Michelle), Courtice, ON and Tammy Mason (Darren), Whitby, ON. Dear uncle to Joanne, Benjamin, Susan, Peter, Kathryn, Melanie, Kirstyn, Hilary, Kurtis and Lauren. Special cousin of John and Jim Kilpatrick, Pickering Village, ON. Bruce and Anne married after graduating from Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. They recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary. Bruce was a speech language pathologist working at the Rotary Children's place in Sarnia, ON and more recently at Grandview Children's Centre in Oshawa, ON. Bruce's passions were music, Scrabble, table hockey, family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for those things as well as for his gracious, giving personality and his positive attitude toward every aspect of his life. A tribute of music and song will be held on Sunday November 4, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at Faith United Church, Courtice, ON, with a reception to follow for time of fellowship and refreshments. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to an Education Fund for his daughters.
