Nelida Melanson MINTO, NB - The death of Nelida Melanson of Minto, NB occurred Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Ste. Marie de Kent, NB she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mathilda (LeBlanc) Roy. Survived by a son, Ivan (Grace) Melanson of Chipman, NB; a daughter, Anna Trzop (Amile) of Minto, NB; brothers, Ivan (Maria) of Moncton, NB, Jim (Carol) of Minto, NB, and Omer (Maria) of Minto, NB; sisters, Maria Hebert of Saint John, NB, Emma Richard (Leonide) of Moncton, NB, Florence Gallant (Jack) of Moncton, NB and Louise Robichaud (Leonard) of Minto, NB; sister-in-law, Adrienne Roy; six grandchildren, Sheryl Ann Livingston (Bradley), Father Mark Trzop, Michael Trzop, Jeff Melanson, Catlin Palmer and Sandy LeBlanc; three great grandchildren, Alex, Lucas and Brooke; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nelida was predeceased by her husband, Alban Melanson in 2000; a sister, Lea and brothers, Frank and Norman. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place 10:00AM Saturday, November 3, 2007 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Mark Trzop officiating.
