Laurie B. LeBlanc
Laurie B. LeBlanc 1916 - 2007 NOTRE-DAME, NB - Laurie B. LeBlanc, age 91, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Friday November 2nd, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was married to Marie-Anne (Née LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Born in Moncton on October 4th, 1916, he was the son of the late Blair and the late Elodie (Née LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Laurie did several things in his life, but the work he liked most was farming. Laurie is survived by his wife, Marie-Anne LeBlanc; five daughters, May Gagnon (Henri), Noella McGraw (Gerard) both of McDougall, Raymonde Goguen (Dismas), Jeannette Despres (Roméo) both of Cocagne, Georgette Falconer (Sinclair) of Notre-Dame; four sons, Roger (Yvonne) of Grande-Digue, Iroi (Roberte) of Cocagne, Oscar (Jacqueline), Rhéal (Yolande) both of Notre-Dame; five sisters, Louise Bourgeois, Yvonne Bourgeois (Odule), Germaine Léger all of Grande-Digue, Sarah Goguen of Notre-Dame, Elnora LeBlanc of Conception Bay South, NL; three brothers, Thomas, Frank (Jeannita) both of Grande-Digue, Blair (Aurelda) of Cocagne; twenty nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Yvonne Arsenault (1956); two sons, Laurie Iroi (1952), Clarence (1970); one granddaughter, Marcia LeBlanc (1993); one brother, Léo (1986); one sister, Rita (2000). Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame on Sunday November 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 1 to 2:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday November 5th, 2007, at 3:00 pm at the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Church, Notre-Dame. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
