Dora Bastarache 1926 - 2007 Dora Bastarache, age 81, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, and formerly of Bouctouche passed away after a brief illness on Saturday November 3rd, 2007 at the Residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Alcide Bastarache (1996). Dora was born in Saint-Paul on August 23rd, 1926 to the late Amédée and the late Sara (Née Léger) Richard. Dora is survived by four daughters, Huberte Luce of Mansfield, Conn., Rosemonde Stratton of Manchester, Conn., Diane Pinkney of Windsor, Conn., Linda Boucher (Marc) of Columbia, Conn.; two sons, Sam (Joyce) of Vernon, Conn., Johnny of New Haven, Conn.; two sisters, Hermine LeBlanc of Vernon, Conn., Ida Bastarache of Sainte-Marie de Kent eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Patrick, Sierra and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four sisters, Yvonne, Lorette, Eugénie, Amanda and two brothers, Ovila, and Tilmon. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Wednesday November 7th, from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday November 8th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
