Robert W. Dickson 1938-2007 MIRAMICHI - Mr. Robert Walter Dickson, husband of Edythe Dickson, of the South Napan Road, Napan, passed away at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, on Thursday morning, November 29, 2007, at the age of 69. Born in Napan, on March 7, 1938, he was the son of the late Walter and Christella (Stella Campbell) Dickson. He was a retired employee of the Dept. of National Defence, at the former CFB Chatham. He was an adherent of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the former Edythe Searle; three brothers, Wilmer Dickson (Mary Anne), of Napan, Allen Dickson (Mary), of Medicine Hat, AB, and Frank Dickson (Kelly), of Napan; three aunts, Mildred Campbell and Lillian Dickson, both of Miramichi and Veronica Campbell, of Fredericton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Saturday, from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, December 3, 2007, at 11 am, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland, assisted by Rev. Charlene Maguire. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi. A reception will follow the graveside committal at Carmel United Church, Napan, to which all are invited. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the N.B. Kidney Foundation (Miramichi Dialysis Unit), or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
