Jean Eloise Creighton WHITNEY, NB - The death of Jean Eloise Creighton widow of Carey David Creighton of Whitney, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, November 30, 3007 at the age of 86. Born in Whitney, NB, Jean was the daughter of the late Robert Forsythe and Ruth Frances (Mutch) Dunnet. She was a homemaker, member of the Whitney Willing Workers and attended the Whitney Baptist Church. Jean is survived by daughter, Ruth Somers (Dennis) of Lyttleton, NB; son, David (Betty) of Moncton, NB; "Adopted" son, Peter Smith (Mae) of Riverview, NB; brother, Nelson Dunnet of Whitney, NB; five grand children, Colin Somers, Krystal Crain, Kent, Ellen and Jon-David Creighton; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister, Margaret and brother, Clair. Visitation will be held at Meadows Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from Meadows Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 2, 2007 @ 2 PM with Pastor Fred Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitney Baptist Cemetery. In Jean's memory a donation may be made to a memorial of ones choice.
