Ursula O\'Hearn

Born In: Pondville, Nova Scotia, Canada

Passed in: Pointe Claire, Quebec, Canada
Passed on: March 9th, 2009

Ursula O’Hearn, 72, passed away peacefully at home in Pointe Claire, Quebec on March 9, 2009.
Born in Pondville, Cape Breton, daughter of the late Peter and Marguerite O’Hearn, she graduated in nursing from the Halifax Infirmary in 1959, then pursued her nursing career in Montreal.
She treasured her faith, her family and her friends. In recent years, her disability prevented her from getting out as much; however, she enjoyed her visits to the chapel at St. John Fisher, her daily mass on EWTN, her weekly reception of Holy Communion, and her daily spiritual websites on the Internet.
She loved her caregiver and companion of 10 years, Keith Campbell; she cherished her three sons, Tom (Angela), Oakville, Ont., Chris (Shannon) and Rob (Rhoda), both of Vancouver and her seven grandchildren. She visited with them on occasion, as her health permitted and chatted with them on a regular basis. She loved dearly her three sisters, Muriel (Ted) Forgeron, Audrey (Bill) Forgeron, Mel (Gene) Miller; her brothers, Roy (Judi), Bernie (Fran) and D.P. (deceased).
We thank the Lord for her deep faith, her generous heart and her joyful spirit.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be celebrated at St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, Pointe Claire on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date in Arichat, Cape Breton.
‘Til we meet again, Urs.
