Nova Walsh 1935 - 2007 Mary Nova Walsh, 72, of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Sunday, December 23rd, 2007 at her residence. Born in Prince Edward Island, she was the daughter of the late George and the late Gertrude (née: Shields) Veno. She graduated from the Charlottetown School of Nursing in 1956 and did her post graduate work at the Montreal Children Hospital in 1957. She was a parishioner of Saint Michael Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Cyril; three dear sons, Patrick (Jean) of Lakeville, Wayne (Janice) of Stilesville and James (Kathy) of Riverview; two sisters, Mary Shirley (Harris) Johnston of Charlottetown, PE and Mary Geralda (Murray) Swan of Douglas, NB; one brother, Wayne (Martha) Veno of Brampton, ON; two loving grandchildren, David and Samantha; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Elgin and Charles. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Friday, December 28th from 9: 30 am until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, December 28th, 2007 at 10: 30 am. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
