Lillian I. Dickson 1917-2007 MIRAMICHI - Lillian Isabel Constance Dickson, widow of the late Burton O. Dickson, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, and formerly of Newcastle and Napan, passed away at her residence, on Friday, December 28, 2007, at the age of 90. Born in Lower Napan, on May 16, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Alexander J. and Lillian I.M. (Cornish) Campbell. She was a homemaker and a dedicated member of St. James & St. Johns United Church, Miramichi as well as a former member of Carmel United Church, Napan; a former member of the choir; a former Sunday School as well as Explorers Teacher; a member of the Good Times Fellowship Group; a life member of the U.C.W. (unit 6) of her church; a former member of the Napan W.I.; a former Volunteer with the Miramichi Hospital Ladies Auxillary. She is survived by one daughter, Noreen Mills (Robert), of Miramichi; one son, Greg B. Dickson (Janice), of Miramichi; four grandchildren, R. Jerome, Jocelyne, Shawn, Lesley; seven great grandchildren, Brandon, Amanda, Christopher, Lydia, Amelia, Samson, Isaac; two sisters in law, Mildred Campbell and Veronica Campbell. She was predeceased by her husband, Burton, in 1985; four sisters, Christella Dickson, Marguerite Godfrey, Marion Lobban, Bernice Lamkey; two brothers, Howard and Norman Campbell. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, on Saturday evening, from 7-9 pm and Sunday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. James & St. Johns United Church, Miramichi, on Monday, December 31, 2007, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Ron Feltmate. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. James & St. Johns united Church, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Mount St. Jospeh Nursing Home, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
