Kelly Ann Augustine, 34, Millbrook, formerly of Burnt Church, N.B., passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at her home in Amherst.
Born Sept. 16, 1974 in Newcastle, N.B., she was a daughter of Theresa Mary (Johnson) Sylliboy, Truro and Joseph Noel Augustine, Burnt Church, N.B. Kelly was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Millbrook.
She loved children and had a natural way with them. She spent many years babysitting for many families. She also enjoyed music, especially singing and karaoke. Along with her parents, Kelly is survived by her children, Brent Augustine, Truro; Matthew, Isaac, Kelsey, Jessie and Jada Augustine, all of Burnt Church; siblings, Elvis (Genevieve), Millbrook; James (Penny), Debert; Charles, Connecticut; Karen, Dartmouth; Kevin, Millbrook; John (Kim), Truro; Michael (Sheina), Tammy (David) Warrick, all of Millbrook; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
She was predeceased by sister, Karla Sylliboy; brother, Isaac Sylliboy. Visitation will be at the home of her sister, Tammy Warrick, 68 Gerald Avenue, Millbrook, beginning on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service on Saturday.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Saturday, March 14, 2009 in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Millbrook, Father Joseph Thomas officiating. Reception and Salite Day will follow in the community hall. Cremation will follow and spring interment will be held in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kelly\'s memory to Millbrook Treatment Centre are welcomed.
