Frances M. MacLeod 1923-2008 Frances Marion MacLeod 84, our mother, passed away peacefully after struggling with Alzheimer's at ProTem Health Services, Moncton, on Wednesday, January 1, 2008. She was the wife of the late Cecil A. MacLeod (July 2000). Born in North Bay, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion (Keith) Buck. Our mother spent the majority of her life dedicated to her children and family. In retired years, our parents spent many relaxing winters in Florida surrounded by friends. We will miss her dearly but our family is so relieved that her struggle with this most difficult disease has come to an end. Her memory is cherished and will live on in us all. Frances was the loving mother of five children, daughters, Joyce MacLeod, Canmore, AB, Janis Fullerton (Al), Shediac, Beth Perry, Moncton, Mary Hanson (Bill), Fall River, NS; son, Ross MacLeod (Cathy Bates), Shediac Bridge; grandchildren, Drew, Jeff, Ryan, Carmen, Jenica, Jaret, Caleb, Devin, Ross, Marla and Nolan; great grandchildren, Dale, Anna, Hayden, Fayth and Brooklyn; sister, Helen Taylor (Claude), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her only brother, Frank. In keeping with our mother's wishes there will be no visitation or Funeral Service. Our heart felt thanks to the staff at ProTem Health Services for their compassion and constant professional care.
