RANCOURT, Denis Joseph Arsene Daniel of St. Louis, SK – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denis Rancourt on March 11, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Denis was born in Zenon Park, SK on January 3, 1932. He had many different careers which included farming, carpentry, truck driving, logging, corrections worker, janitor and addiction worker. Denis lived many years in Prince George, BC and moved to St. Louis in 1978 where he lived until his passing. Denis enjoyed traveling and meeting new people and seeing different things. He loved spending time with his horses and watching his family laugh while sharing stories. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 54 years, Marie-Ange; his children and grandchildren, Alain (Patricia) – Amanda, Heather (Sheldon) Ruryk and Victoria; Vivian (Louis) Senez – Mark, Lynn and Samantha; Guy (Jackie Romano) – Stephanie and Dylan; Lucien (Evelyn) – Kevin (Jamie); Leslie (Betty) – Angela, Krystal (Tim) and Michael; Martin (Claire) – Paul, Joseph (Jessica), Jacqueline and Marcel; Susanne (Robin) Boyer – Courtney & Justin; Nicole (Darren Solomon) – Dylan, Melissa, Taylor and Jordon and four great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jessica, Jasmine and Ava; sisters, Adeline (Wilfred) LeBlanc, Diane Rancourt and Jeannine (Lance) Allard. Denis was predeceased by his parents, Cleo and Elva; his father and mother-in-law, Andre and Irene Bussiere; brother Joseph; sister Bernice and brothers-in-law, Emile Bussiere and Lionel Dionne. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Tru Le at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11:00 am.
