Fernanda Cormier 1921-2008 Fernanda Cormier, 86, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, January 25th, 2008, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Celime and the late Ainée (née: Williams) Melanson. Mrs. Cormier in her leisure enjoyed reading, bowling, puzzles, and crafts, and was a parishioner of St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters, Denise (Angus) Spencer of Chartersville, and Monique (Alain) Grenier of St.-Anselme; six sons, Guy (Pierrette) of Laval, QC, J.D. Eric (Ann Marie) of Hackett's Cove, NS, Fernand (Pierrette) of Fall River, NS, J. Paul, J.M. Bernard "Benny" and Pierre, all three of St.-Anselme; one brother, Oswald (Loretta) Melanson of Chartersville; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Eric in 1996; one daughter, Yvette; two sisters, Dorilla and Maria; and also by one brother, Aurèle. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday, January 28th, 2008, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and also on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the service. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, January 29th, 2008 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
