Annie F. Steeves
Annie F. Steeves 1906 - 2008 Annie F. Steeves, 102, of Lakeview Manor, Riverview and formerly of Shenstone, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2008 at the nursing home. Annie was born in Highfield, Queens Co. on April 3, 1906, the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Crawford) Pearson. She was a former teacher and a loving housewife and mother. Annie was a member of the St. Mary's Anglican Church in Hillsborough and she was also a lifetime member of the Missionary Aid of the Salem Baptist Church. Annie was a very special lady who will live on in the hearts of her family forever. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Loanna Whitmore (John) of Hillsborough and son, Walton Steeves (Margaret) of Chateauguay, Quebec; granddaughters, Meredith Stratton (Andrew) of Georgetown, Ontario, Anna McCurdy (Micah) of Sydney, Australia and Paula Whitmore of Toronto, Ontario; and great granddaughter, Kethry Stratton. She was predeceased by her husband, R. Ellison Steeves in 1991; sister, Olive Pearson; and brother, Hanford Pearson. The family will meet with relatives and friends at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31, 2008 from 7-9 pm to share memories and reminisce. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 2 pm at the St. Mary's Anglican Church, Hillsborough with Rev. Rob Salloum officiating. The interment will be in the Shenstone Cemetery, Shenstone, in the spring.
