Wilfred J. Lutes 1929-2008 Wilfred John Lutes passed away suddenly, but peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Mae; his son, Derek (Heather); daughter, Deborah (Ronald) Chirka; three loving grandchildren, Samantha, Daniel and Madison; sisters, Joyce Allison, Beth Ferguson; and sister-in-law, Joyce Lutes; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Barbara "Jesse"; as well as his brother, Rupert. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, especially because he was known for his wit, his great sense of humor and his gift of gab. At his request no visitation or service will be held. Following cremation, a private interment will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society and The Friends of The Moncton Foundation or the Shediac Division of the Extra Mural would be greatly appreciated.
