Aline LeBlanc 1943 - 2008 ALDOUANE - Aline LeBlanc, 64, wife of Alpha LeBlanc, of Aldouane, NB, passed away Wednesday, February 6th, 2008 at the Stella Maris Hospital, St. Anne de Kent after a lenghtly illness. Born in Lakeburn, she was the daughter of the late Ovila LeBlanc and Lily (Bourgeois) LeBlanc. Aline worked as substitute teacher, a bookkeeper for local companies and fishermen. She also worked at Bonar Law High School teaching french to native students. She was president of the figure skating club in the 1970's, past president of the C.A.D.A.C. and she worked with children with special needs. She is survived by her husband, Alpha; her mother, Lily; two daughters, Brenda Maillet (Paul) of St. Norbert and Karen LeBlanc (Mandy Shaw) of Hay River; grandson, Kevin Ovila Maillet; four sisters, Marguerite Brun (Leonard) of Grande-Digue, Lorette Turner (Jim) of North Carolina, Anita Gift (Rod) of Maryland and Denise Kelly (Shane) of Albert Co; brother, Jimmy LeBlanc (Bernice) of Lakeburn; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto, with visiting hours on Sunday, February 10th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto, Monday, February 11th, at 11 am. Interment in Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery in the Spring. Aline's family would like to say special thanks to Dr. Eric Martin, and the staff at the Stella Maris Hospital for the care they provided.
