Leandre J. Caissie 1933 - 2008 Leandre J. Caissie, age 75, passed away after a brief illness. Born in St-Philippe on January 26, 1933, Leandre was the son of the late Eddie Caissie and the late Eva Cormier. He was a retired mechanic. He is survived by one daughter, Corinne Kaye Simpson (Brian) of St-Philippe; four sisters, Agnes Melanson (late Gerard) of Moncton, Leonie Arsenault (Laurent) of Dieppe, Corinne LeBlanc (Arthur) of Shediac, and Jeanette LeBlanc (Arthur) of Hamilton, Ontario; two grandchildren, Troy Kaye (Michelle) of Coal Branch, NB, and Shauna Simpson of St-Philippe; three great-grandchildren, Parker, Jade, and Magnus; and also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by seven brothers, Willie, Tim, George, Levis, Eddie, Henri, and Arthur; eleven sisters, Elizabeth, Eveline, Eva, Germaine, Marie, Adeline, Susan, Rosie, Anna, Florence, and Aline. There will be no visiting time at the funeral home or funeral service by request.
