Earl E. Walsh 1920 - 2008 GALLOWAY, NB - Earl Walsh, 87, passed away on February, 16, 2008 at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne after a brief illness. Born in Galloway, NB on September 30, 1920, he was the son of the late Michael and Catherine (Kennedy) Walsh. Earl retired from the Department of Transportation in 1985 and was a Farmer. He Attended Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton. He is survived by two daughters, Janet (Alban) Vautour, and Harriet (late Donald) Robichaud, of Rexton; two sons, Everett (Anne) Walsh of Harvey Station, and Ronald (Marie) of Galloway; foster nieces, Ann Langis and Marion Walsh of Riverview, sixteen grandchildren; twenty great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of his immediate family, Earl was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Bessie Brown) Walsh; sisters, Grace Smith, Jenny Wheeler, Essie Mitchell, Ann Gagner; brothers, Alexander (Allie), James and Carl. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)with visiting hours on Monday, February 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Tuesday, February 19 from 9 am until departure for funeral. The Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. A prayer vigil will be held at the funeral home Monday evening at 8:30 pm.
