Rita Daigle 1926 - 2008 Richibucto, NB - Rita Daigle, the wife of the late Selime Daigle, passed away peacefully at the age of 81, with her family at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne on Saturday, March 1st, 2008. Rita will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Jeannette Emond (Maurice) of New Hampshire, Laura Daigle (Reginald Pelletier) of Montréal, Dianne Comeau (Gabriel) of Richibucto, Bertha Daigle of Richibucto; one son Reginald Daigle of Richibucto; eleven grand children; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Marie Mazerolle of Kingston, ON; one brother, Urbain Mazerolle (Ozelie) of Pointe-Sapin; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, Joseph, and André; and a daughter Thérèse at birth. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252) with visitation on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday noon until time of funeral. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment in the parish cemetery at a later date.
