Douglas (Doug) B. Hamilton Douglas (Doug) B. Hamilton, 78, of Moncton, passed away on arrival at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Born in Hildegarde, he was the son of the late Bertram and Dorothy (White) Hamilton. Doug was retired from the Sumner Co. Ltd. with 42 years service and was an adherent of Hillside Baptist Church. As an outdoor person, he enjoyed animals, gardening, working in the woods, woodworking, watching TV sports, doing puzzles; but first and foremost was spending quality time with his family. Doug will be sadly missed by his wife of over 54 years, Marjorie (Taylor) Hamilton; daughter, Beverly Matthews (Larry), Toronto; son, Carl (Annette); grandchildren, Justine, Rachel, Aaron; sisters, Viola Lutes (Sonny), Moncton, Jean Matchett (Peter), Gallagher Ridge; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, 7 to 9 pm, Friday 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm.
