Alexina Hibbert Alexina Hibbert, 76, of Shediac and formerly of Miramichi passed away on Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital following a lenghty illness. Born June 24, 1931 in Rogersville, she was the daugher of the late Placide and Éloise (Gallant) Aucoin. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Mercedes Hibbert (Chantal LeBlanc) of Shediac, two sons: Roger "Butch" Wedge (Yolande) of Rogersville, and Marcus Hibbert (Nicole) of Halifax, NS; four sisters, Germaine Stewart and Laurianna Arkin, both of Miramichi, Nora Given of Portland, MA, Lumina Bourgoin of Montréal, QC; two brothers, Élie Aucoin (Rina) of Edmunston, and Arthur "Pete" Wedge (Shirley) of Ontario; four grandchildren, Natasha, Guy, Brooklyn and Noah; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, Reginald Hibbert, two brothers, Roger and Roméo Aucoin and by one sister, Louise Parker. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Rogersville Parish Hall, on Wednesday, from 10 am until time of the Funeral Mass. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in St-François de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Rogersville. Interment in the parish cemetery.
