Janice Mary Carter 1957 - 2008 KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB - Janice Mary Carter, 50, wife of Floyd Carter, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, March 17th, 2008. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of Jack Proud and Norma (Seeley) Proud. She has worked as an office administrator and in sales. She attended Knox Prebyterian Church, Kouchibouguac, and was a member of the Atlantic Mission Society and Ladies Aid and was the editor of the Presbyterian Message for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling on mission trips. She is survived by her husband, Floyd; four daughters, Julia, Rebecca (Bryan), Cynthia and Amanda; one sister, Patti Proud and one brother Robert Proud. As per Janice's wishes there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto, Friday, March 21st, 2008. at 2:00 pm. Interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, Kouchibouguac at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Breast Cancer Foundation or donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
