Philodore (Phil) Poirier 1931 - 2008 Sadly, on Monday March 17, 2008, Philodore Poirier, 76, passed away at Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Oakville, Ontario. Born May 5, 1931 in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Fréderick Poirier and Yvonne Poirier-Fortier. Beloved husband of the late Georgia (Cormier) Poirier. Loving father of three daughters, Louise McTaggart of Burlington, ON, Patricia Parker (Larry) of Cayman Islands, Lisa Poirier of Port Hope, ON; one son, Russell Poirier (Toni) of Caledonia, ON. Cherished grandfather of Katherine, Alexis and Mitchell. Dear brother of Adelard (late Mélina) of Oakville, ON, Fidèle (Lina) of Cocagne, Émile (Catherine) of Florida, Jean-Paul (Aurella) of Mass., Albert "Noël" (Beverly) of Hamilton, ON; and predeceased by sisters, Alexina and Bernice.
