Hector Maillet 1921 - 2008 ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Hector Maillet, husband of Ella (Robichaud) Maillet, of St. Louis de Kent, NB, Passed away at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent, on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Born in St. Olivier, he was the son of the late Urbain Maillet and the late Celina (Robichaud) Maillet. He had worked as a carpenter and fisherman. He was a member of the Richibucto Canadian Legion Branch 30. He served with the Carlton York Regiment in the Canadian Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Ella; daughters, Zelima of Moncton, Ramona (Luc Vautour) of Cap St. Louis, Diane (Pierre Babineau) of Bowmonville, ON, Ann of Richibucto; sons, Roger (Aline) of Aldouane, Everard of Richibucto; step-daughter, Carolle; step-sons, Joe (Yvette) LaPointe of Moncton, Marcel LaPointe, Tony LaPointe, both of BC; sisters, Bertha (late Nazaire Guimond) of St. Louis, Julienne (late Alyre Richard) of St. Louis; seventeen grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Odile (Donat Richard); three brothers, Emile, Armand (Ethel), and infant Emile (8 months). As per Hector's wishes there will be no visitation. Mass will be celebrated at St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 at 4:00 pm.
