Calixte Robichaud 1911 - 2008 Calixte Robichaud, 96, of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of Sainte-Marie de Kent, passed away at the Foyer Saint-Antoine on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 following a lengthy illness. Calixte was married to the late Ozélie (Goguen) Robichaud (1994). Born on April 23rd, 1911, he was the son of the late Fidèle and the late Joséphine (Maillet) Robichaud. A retired farmer and business man, he attended Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent, and was a member of the Sainte-Marie de Kent Golden Age Club. Calixte is survived by three sons, Paul (Marguerite) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Raoul (Marlene) of Waltham, Mass, Raymond (Huberte) of Saint-Antoine; two daughters, Claudette Thébeau (Yvon) of Irishtown, Lina Hurtubise (Francois) of Beloeil, PQ, nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; six sisters, Aline Cavalier (late Pete) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Edna Hébert (late Edmond) of Waltham, Mass, Yvonne Hébert (late Alcide) of Fort Pierce, FL, Nélida Allain (late Thomas) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Diane Robichaud (late Bill) of Bellerica, Mass, Florence Cormier (Donald) of Moncton; one brother, Aldéric (Adrienne) of Saint-Antoine, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife, Ozélie; one son, Ronald in infancy; one grandson, David (1993); two sisters, Henriette (1995), Marie (2006), and two brothers, Eric in infancy and Arsène (1990). Visitation will be at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Thursday, April 3rd, from 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Friday, April 4th at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
