William "Bill" Bullis
William "Bill" Bullis 1935 - 2008 William "Bill" Bullis, 72, of Cocagne, has passed away on Thursday April 3rd, 2008 at the Moncton City Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Married to Annette (Dallaire) Bullis, he was born on April 9th, 1935 in Newport, Vermont to the late Alfred and the late Dorothy (Sanville) Bullis. Bill was a US Veteran of the Korean War. He loved his family, friends and neighbors; he loved life, his work as a truck driver with Gilco Ready Mix prior to his retirement, and the friendships he developed with his co-workers. He enjoyed his daily outings to Tim Horton, and will be sadly miss by all. He is survived by his wife, Annette, one daughter; Penny Allain of Memramcook, three sons; Stephen, Michael, both of Massachusetts, Kenneth of North Carolina, three sisters; Iona Carter of Newport, Vermont, Ester Peck (Terrance) of Massachusetts, Connie Rogers (Boby) of Florida, eleven grandchildren; Amy, Chris, Stephanie, Jason, Penny, Sherry, Kerry, Jennifer, Kendra, Tiffiny, Noel, and several nephews and nieces. Bill was predeceased by one sister, Ardene, and three brothers, Shelden, Rob, and Larry. At Bills's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday April 8th, 2008 at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in the Newport Centre Cemetery, Newport, Vermont. A reception will follow after the funeral, at the Cocagne Golden Age Club for family and friends. In Bill's memory donations can be made to the Moncton City Hospital, or the Alzheimer's Society.
