George Brun 1936 - 2008 With great sadness the family of George Brun, 72 of Kanata Ont. announce his passing away on Wednesday April 9, 2008 at the General Hospital in Ottawa Ont. after a brief illness with cancer. He was born Feb 9, 1936 in Grand-Digue N.B. He was the son of the late Arthur Brun and the late Lina Brun (Leger). He is survived by his wife Jeanne Brun (Richard); two sons, David (Rita), and Gary; one granddaughter, Stephanie; one grandson, Dylan of Kanata, Ont. George is also survived by three brothers, Alonzo of Rochester N.Y., Clorice (Racelle), Shediac N.B., Louis (Rita) of Grand Barachois; four sisters, Francine Wade (Henrie) of Missisauga Ont., Rita Juneau (Andre) of Scarborough Ont., Marguarite Cormier (Val), Alice LeBlanc Lloyd of Shediac; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by six brothers, Eloi, Alcide, Freddy, Clerance, Léo, Lévi; two sisters, Florida Downing (late Patrick), Ozilia Hache (late Albert). Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in at Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eaglison Rd. Kanata Ont. on Monday April 14, 2008 at 11am.
