Bliss Goodwin The death of Bliss Goodwin, age 65, of Baie Verte, NB, occurred on Monday, April 14th, 2008 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Coburg, he was a son of the late George and Dora Goodwin. Bliss will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Jeannette Gautreau, Baie Verte; a brother, Ralph (Kathy), Baie Verte; uncles, Kenny and Amos (Verne); aunts, Dora Nadeau and Lottie Pye; mother-in-law, Doris Gautreau. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Owen. A memorial service will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main Street, Port Elgin (538-2241) on Thursday, April 17th, 2008 at 2 pm, Bill Drysdale, officiating. Burial in the Baie Verte Cemetery in the spring. Bliss's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 until the time of the funeral at 2 pm.
