Gertrude Mary Haley 1913 - 2008 AMHERST, NS - Gertrude Haley, formerly of 43 High St, Moncton, passed away at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Wednesday, April 16th 2008 at the age of 94. Born in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late James and Leonie (LeBlanc) Blackier. Gertrude was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church and a former member of the Lions Senior Citizens Association and the Dieppe Golden Age Club. Gertrude enjoyed bowling, knitting and travelling with her husband Norman. She is survived by her loving husband, Norman Haley; one sister, Anita Meunier of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two sisters, Mary and Exelda. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton on Friday, April 18th, 2008 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, April 19th, 2008 at 10:00am with Fr. Bernard Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe at a later date. Donations made to Memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
