Nancy "Landry" Melanson
Nancy "Landry" Melanson 1978 - 2008 Nancy Melanson, 30, of Dieppe, has passed away at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Tuesday April 15th, 2008 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Married to Serge Melanson she was born in Maltempec on January 25th, 1978 to Gerald (Gerry) Caissie and Ella Landry. Nancy worked as a customer service representative for Blue Cross in Moncton for eight years. Nancy is survived by her parents Gerry and Ella of Pokemouche, her husband Serge and an infant daughter Véronique three months old, one half sister; Linda Vienneau (Luc) of Fredericton, maternal grandfather; Albert Landry of Maltempec, paternal grandmother; Edmonde Landry of Pokemouche, parents-in-law; Louis and Bernice (Richard) Melanson of Cocagne, two brothers-in-law; Rémi Melanson (Gina) of Ottawa, Gaétan Melanson of Edmundston, one niece, Kimberly, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother; Yvette Landry and her paternal grandfather, Edward Caissie. Funeral mass will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne on Friday April 18th, at 4:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. At the request of Nancy and her family there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A reception will fallow the funeral at the Cocagne Golden Age Club for family and friends. In Nancy's memory, the family would appreciate donations to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation in lieu of flowers.
