Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday August 16, Hubert Reid of Winterton age 73 years. Predeceased by parents John and Mabel Reid and sister Avora Pinhorn. Leaving to mourn wife Carol, Winterton; daughters Karen (Dave), Calgary, AB; Avora (Eric), Winterton; Joanne (Darrell), Foxtrap; and son Billy (Marina), Foxtrap. Grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Jenny, Isabella, and Owan. Brothers Ralph (Rose), St. John's; WIlson (Marilyn) Salmon Cove; Charlie (Rona) Winterton; sister Effie Deering, Salmon Cove. Brother-in-law Peter Pinhorn, Winterton; sisters-in-law Phyllis Burk, Peachland, B.C. and Lois Owen, Alliston ON. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Sunday, 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m; Monday, 10-11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place at 2 p.m. from Green's Funeral Home. Interment in St. Lukes Anglican Cemetery, Winterton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital or Daffodil Place.
