Everett E. Ross Everett E. Ross, 90, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed peacefully into the presence of his beloved Saviour and Lord at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, April 28, 2008. Born in Collier Mountain, he was the son of the late Purdy and Stella (Collier) Ross. Everett was retired from Fundy National Park with 26 years service, member of Highfield St. Baptist Church, former member of the Deacon Board, member of the Young at Heart Seniors Group and the Men's Brotherhood Sunday School Class, former member, Deacon and Trustee of Alma Baptist Church and former member of the Alma LOL #42. He enjoyed horses, attending horse pulls at the Albert & Westmorland County fairs, berry picking (especially fiddleheads), chatting with his friends and showed great love for his family and his Saviour Jesus Christ. Everett will be sadly missed by his wife of 67 years, Eunice (Hunsburger) Ross; son, David (Yvonne), Boundary Creek; grandchildren, Byron (Jennifer), Dieppe, Andrea, Moncton; great grandchildren, Matthew, Cassidy, Isaac, Ethan, Remi, Emma; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, predeceased by his sisters, Eva and Doris. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, April 30, 2008, 1:30 pm, Rev. Dr. Brian MacArthur officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Alma Baptist Cemetery.
