Elvina Geneau 1920 - 2008 Elvina Geneau, 88, of Acadieville, NB, wife of the late Charles J. Geneau, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, Miramichi on Sunday April 27, 2008. Born in St. Louis de Kent to the late Napoleon Babineau and the late Domithilde (Daigle) Babineau. Elvina was a member of the Golden Age Club in Richibucto. She also attended the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by one daughter, Valdine Miller (Zélicien Doiron), Waltham, Mass.; two sons, Donald Geneau (Dora) and Ola Geneau (Marcella), both of Acadieville; three brothers, Dominic, Léon and Joe; seven granchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter, Diane; one son, Aldéo; four sisters, Victime Arsenault, Lydia Robichaud, Marguerite Mcgraw, Yvonne Lapointe; four brothers, Laurent Babineau, François Babineau, Sylvain Babineau and Olivier Babineau. Resting at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday from noon until time of funeral. Funeral Mass in the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.
