Jessie Winifred Murray 1915 - 2008 Jessie Murray, 93, of Forest Dale Home, Riverside-Albert and formerly of Hillsborough passed away peacefully at the home on May 13, 2008. Jessie was born in Stanley, N.B. on April 17, 1915, the daughter of the late Frederick and Josephine (Mullin) Glover. She worked as a secretary but her most important job was raising her family. Her family meant the world to her and she treasured all the times they spent together. She faithfully attended the Hillsborough United Church and was a lifetime member of the United Church Women. She was the kind of lady you would never forget, her gentle smile and her kind heart stood out when you met her. She was very special to all who knew her and will never be forgotten. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by her caring and devoted husband, John C. "Jack" Murray, who were in their 65th year of marriage. Her cherished children, Marion Ruth Powell (Rick) of Calgary and David R. F. Murray (Carol) of Rosemere, Quebec. She will also be missed by her precious grandchildren, Shelleigh, Kimberley, Kelly, Deron, Nicole; and great grandson, Caleb. Jessie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, James, William, Janet, Ralph and Ruth. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Friday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Hillsborough United Church on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Interment will be held in the Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough.
