Russell A. Cochrane Russell A. Cochrane, 95, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 16, 2008. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Thomas and Annie (Eagles) Cochrane. Russell was a retired Office Supervisor at The Halifax Hotel, the T. Eaton Co. Ltd., and was a former photographer with ATV. He was a member of St. Philip's Anglican Church of which he served faithfully for many years, was a former member of the Moncton Kinsmen Club and the Moncton K-40, Veteran of WWII having served with the RCAF (1941 - 1945) as an Armament Instructor. Russell was predeceased by his wife, Doris (Yates) Cochrane (September 1996); infant daughter, Barbara Jean; sister, Georgie Brown (late Harold); brother, Ralph. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday, 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service at St. Philip's Anglican Church, Lynch St., Monday, May 19, 2008, 2:00 pm, Rev. Kevin Borthwick officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Russell's memory, donations to the memorial of choice would be appreciated.
