Melissa Leslie 1989 - 2008 Melissa Leslie, 18, of Dieppe, passed away after a brief illness at her home surrounded by those who loved her, on Monday, May 19th, 2008. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of Brent and Rita (née: Hébert) Leslie. She graduated from Moncton High in 2007 and was a student at St.Francis Xavier University fall of 2007. Beside her parents, Brent and Rita, she is survived by her sister, Rebecca at home; her paternal grandfather, Boyd Leslie (Christine Neeld) of Crapaud, PEI; her maternal grandmother, Yvonne Hébert of Dieppe; her paternal great grandmother, Benita Leslie of Dieppe; and her boyfriend, Travis Perry of Moncton. Melissa will be missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Arlene in 1998 and her maternal grandfather, Clovis Hébert in 1991. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, 857-1901, on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, May 22nd, 2008, at 11 am. Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at the Oncology Unit at the Moncton Hospital and the Radiation department at the Dr. Georges-L.
