Catherine M. Tuck 1950-2008 The death of Catherine Maddison (Dryden) Tuck of Curryville occurred on May 19, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Phyllis Dryden (nee Maddison) and the late Winston Dryden. Catherine was a graduate of Moncton High School and the University of New Brunswick with an honours degree in psychology. She was a well-respected travel agent for 36 years, beginning her career with Moncton Travel and ending with CAA. She loved to travel and traveled extensively throughout the world. She loved NASCAR races and Rolling Stones concerts, seeing the band eleven times. She also saw the Beatles when she was a young girl. Her home in Albert County was her paradise and she enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cottage at Cape Brule especially in September. Catherine was a member of St. John's United Church, the New Brunswick Morgan Club, and a former member of Fort Monckton Chapter IODE and the Moncton West Rotary Club. Cathy is survived by her beloved husband, David; her mother, Phyllis Dryden; her brother, Ian; sister, Marcia Dryden-West; brother-in-law, Donald West; nephews, Geoffrey, Michael and Colin West; father-in-law, Frank Tuck; brother-in-law, Bruce Tuck (Susan Sowerby) and their son, Curtis; "second mother", Deane McAuley; many cherished cousins; and her dogs Cole and Six. She was predeceased by her father; her mother-in-law, Jean Tuck; uncle and aunt, Ned and Dorothy Maddison; cousin, Allison Maddison; and her beloved horse, Birchgrove Shaman. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday evening, from 6 to 8pm for a time of reminiscing and sharing of memories. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 2:30pm with Rev. Aaron Billard officiating.
