Robert Hugh Murray The death of Robert Hugh Murray, of Miramichi, NB, occurred at his late residence on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the age of 53. Born in Newcastle, NB, he is the son of Kenneth and Ella (Silliker) Murray of Moncton, NB. Over the years Robert has worked various jobs in Moncton and Alberta. Robert loved music, painting and woodcarving. Besides his parents: Robert is survived by: four sisters: Lynn Liao (Philip) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Sandra Stiles (Ron) of Fredericton, NB; Nancy Sampson (Paul) of West Vancouver, BC; Debra Wilson (Don) of Edmonton, AB; two brothers: Brian of Moncton, NB; David (Yenmi) of Richmond, BC; one nephew: Gerry; three nieces: Jessica, Sarah & Olivia. Robert is predeceased by: an infant brother: Lawrence Kenneth, maternal grandparents: Ward & Freda Silliker, paternal grandparents: Curtis & Clara Murray. At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Burnt Church Union Cemetery on Thursday at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the cemetery. In Robert's memory, donations may be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation or to a memorial of one's choice.
