Douglas Sherwood Snow Douglas Sherwood Snow, 77, of Dartmouth passed away May 24, 2008 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in St. John's, Nfld, he was the son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Snow. Douglas was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring after 36 years of service. He is survived by sons, Kenneth (Denise), Wayne (Michele), both of Dartmouth, Brian (Anne) of Lower Sackville and Derek (Kim) of Moncton; nine grandchildren; as well as special friend, Eleanor. He was predeceased by his wife, Hilda. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 8 p.m., Wednesday, all in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street. Burial will take place at a later date in Newfoundland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
