J. Carol Lewis J. Carol Lewis, 75, of Salisbury West, and formerly of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, May 29, 2008 following a brief illness. Born in Edgett's Landing, she was the daughter of the late Borden and Geraldine (Rennison) Steeves. Carol was a former school teacher, graduate of Fredericton Normal School, member of West Lane Baptist Church and recently attended Salisbury Baptist Church. She was a member of the West Lane WMS, West Lane Seniors Group and served her church in various other capacities in past years. She enjoyed doing word and jigsaw puzzles, reading, gardening, playing cards, going out to lunch with her friends and spending quality time with her family. Carol will be sadly missed by her husband of over 52 years, Herman Lewis; daughter, Susan Wilson (Ryan), Winlaw, BC; sons, Craig, Calgary, Stephen, Riverview; grandchildren, MacKenzie, Brett, Sam, Andrew; sister-in-law, Marilyn Colpitts (Richard), Moncton; niece, Valerie Steeves, Halifax; two nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her sister, Marianne. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Saturday, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, June 1, 2008, 2:00 pm, Rev.
