Joseph Comfort 1940 - 2008 Joseph Comfort, 68, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Monday, June 2, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Born on May 15, 1940 son of the late Owen and Helena (Matchett) Comfort. Joseph will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Loretta of 47 years; three sons, Larry (Billie Joe), Kenny (Sonia), Kevin (Jackie); one daughter, Christina Lee (Rob), 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers, Owen, Brian, Paul, David and two sisters, Libby and Debbie as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Besides his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his son, Todd. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 2pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
