Robert Melanson Robert Melanson, 56, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the palliative unit of the Dr. G.-L.-Dumont on June 5, 2008. Born March 22, 1952 , he was the son of Edith LeBlanc and the late Raymond Melanson. He enjoyed camping and all sports, especially fishing. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Denise (Gaudet) Melanson; his two adored children, Suzanne Stewart (Denis) and Marc (Shannon); his precious grandson, Jacob Stewart; two brothers, Francis (Phyllis) and Jean-Denis (Paulette); two sisters, Joanne Bourque (Pierre) and Pauline Magee (Robert); several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by an infant brother, Gary. The family will be receiving condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday, June 8, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m.. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, from Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Saint-Anselme parish cemetery, Dieppe.
