Louis Cormier

Louis Cormier 1916 - 2008 Louis Cormier, 92, from St-Antoine formally from Cocagne passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 21st, 2008 at the Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Born in Cocagne on January 26, 1916, he was the son of the late Mélanie Thériault and his grandma, the late Rose Thériault. He is survived by his wife Rose- Marie Cormier; four sons, Donald Cormier (Dorice) of Moncton, Aldérice Cormier (Cathy) of Windsor ON, Laurie Cormier (Valida) of St-Antoine and Roméo Cormier (Florida) of St-Edouard; four daughters, Huberte Richard (late Edgar) of Notre-Dame, Florence Fougère (Albert) of Cocagne, Claudette Dupuis (Alyre) of Notre-Dame and Murielle Allain (Emile) of Cocagne; one sister, Alvida Hébert (late Aurèle) of Grande-Digue. Also 26 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Louis is predeceased by his mother, Mélanie Thériault, his grandmother, Rose Thériault and one infant daughter, Claudette. Resting at Coopérative Funéraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, with visiting hours Tuesday June 24th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. No visiting on Wednesday morning. Funeral service will be held at St-Pierre de Cocagne Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday June 25th, at 10 am. Interment will in the St-Pierre de Cocagne cemetery. If so desired donation to the Alzheimer Society, Dr. George L. Dumont Foundation Palliative Care or donation of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
