June B. Carroll 1936 - 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of June announce her death after her brave battle with cancer at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, June 23 2008. She was predeceased by her husband John R. Carroll in 1992. She was also predeceased by her two brothers Derek and Geoff both of England. June is survived by her companion David Longaphie (Riverview), son Gary (Shirley) Milton ON., daughters Alison Waddington (Peter) Banff, AB., and Lorraine Daigle (Bill) Moncton, NB. She is survived by her many precious grandchildren as well as her sisters Evelyn Peacock (Ken), Kathleen Beech (Ben), Barbara Cresswell (Brian), and her foster sister Evelyn Bright (Harold) and her many nieces and nephews (all of England). There will be no visitation at June's request. The Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch # 6 will conduct a Legion Service at 9:45 am on Friday, June 27th at St. George's Anglican Church, 51 Church St. Moncton. The memorial service will take place on Friday at 10:00 am, at St. George's Anglican Church, The Reverend Chris VanBuskirk officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church hall. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. There are far too many people to thank for their kindness and caring to list here. Suffice it to say you know who you are, and your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you to all who sent cards, flowers and gifts, prepared meals, visited and made her smile.
