Douglas Earl Best 1948 - 2008 Douglas Earl Best, 60, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on June 29th, 2008. Doug was born in Alma on March 4, 1948 he grew up in Alma later moving to Calgary where he lived for over 30 years. He was the son of the late Earl and Shirley (Parsons) Best. He is survived by his children, Tracy Best of New Horton and Troy Best (Meaghan) of Moncton; three grandchildren, Teejay, Jacob and Denise; brothers, Kenneth "Mike" Best (Bev) of Lower Cape, Charles Best (Judy) of Weldon, Fred Best (Rose) of Edgett's Landing; sister-in-law Nancy Best of Petitcodiac. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two infant brothers, William and Edward and by a brother Gary. A Memorial Service will take place at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 2:00pm.
