66, Wagmatcook Levi John Mattie, 66, of Wagmatcook, Victoria County, died Nov. 3, 2008, in Victoria County Memorial Hospital. Born in Wagmatcook, he was a son of the late Matthew John and Mary Jane (Cremo) Mattie. He was a member of Queen of the World parish, Wagmatcook. Levi was devoted to St. Ann du BeauprÉ in Quebec. His favourite pastime was fishing and going to bingo. Levi loved his pets, Tooney and Valatino. He is survived by son, Frederick Isadore; brothers, Mathew Francis, Eskasoni, Lawrence Cremo, Boston; sisters, Susie Bernard, Jane Simon and Katherine Isadore. He will be missed by caregivers and friends, Allan John and Walter Isadore. He was predeceased by his adoptive parents, Mary Ellen Simon and Andrew Mattie Simon, daughter, Brenda Googoo, sisters, Mary Catherine Cremo, Ida Bernard, Mary Belle Isadore, brothers, John Simon and Michael Pierro. The body is resting at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Isadore, 22 Katie's Lane, Wagmatcook, with visiting hours Thursday after 4 p.m. and all day Friday. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, in Queen of the World Church, Rev. Norman MacPhee officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
