Laurie Arsenault
Laurie Arsenault 1915 - 2008 Laurie Arsenault, 92, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of St-Croix Street, Bouctouche, has passed away at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste on Thursday July 10th, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Married to the late Elvia Girouard (2000), he was born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on July 19th, 1915 to the late Fabien and the late Anna (Richard) Arsenault. Laurie is survived by three sisters; Lydie Maillet (Late Albert) of Saint-Louis de Kent, Blanche Richard (Late Edgar) of Richiboucto, Annette Cormier (Late Alphonse) of Rhodes Island, two brothers; Zoel (Lorette) of Memramcook, Tilmon (Late Yvonne) of Leominster, Mass, his brother and sister in law, Jimmy and Rose-Mai Carroll with whom Laurie and Elvia resided for numerous years, and several nephews and nieces, and great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one brother, Father Paul Arsenault (1998) and several brothers and sisters at an early age. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche, on Sunday, July 13th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 14th, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Laurie's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche, or to the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation.
