Violet "Ruth" Milton
Violet "Ruth" Milton 1929 - 2008 Ruth Milton 78, of Albert Mines passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 19th, 2008 at her home. Ruth was born in Albert mines, N.B. on December 18, 1929 the daughter of the late William "Ross" and Mary (Killam) Milton. She moved to the United States when she was 25 and worked for several years as a nanny. She cherished the children and became very fond of the Tye's of whom became her second family. After the children had grown she stayed with the family and helped in other ways. She could not have loved those children more, had they been her own. Ruth never complained and always had a smile for everyone. She devoted her entire life to bringing joy and comfort to those she loved. With her kind heart and pure intentions, she touched the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was truly an angel of God, and now she has gone to be with him. She will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever. She will be deeply missed by her four brothers, Morris Milton (Lillian) of Albert Mines, Marvin Milton (Margie) of Hillsborough, Walter Milton of Albert Mines, Killam Milton (Hulda)of Albert Mines; his seven sisters, Grace Wilson of Hillsborough, Kilmeny Johnson of California, Rosemary Dibiose of Connecticut, Inez Milton of Salisbury, Mable Glenn (Carmen) of Montreal, Charlotte Currah (Jack) of Oshawa and Moira McKinley of Albert Mines; several nieces and nephews. She will also be deeply missed by her second family, Rozlyn & Ray Tye and their children, Jim, Carol, Mark and Randy. Besides her parents she was predeceased by four brothers, David, Maynard, Uzzile and Gordon and by two sisters, Freda Ayer and Frances Bagley; also by her special boy, Michael Tye. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Interment will be in the Albert Mines Cemetery, Albert Mines, N.B. For those who wish donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
