73, Dominion It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing of Marvin Clements of Dominion, on Nov. 6, 2008, at the Glace Bay Health Care Complex. Born in Waddens Cove, Marvin was the son of the late Charles and Lilly Clements. Marvin was an engineer for the lake boats and he worked on the Helen and Don Cadegan boats in Glace Bay. He loved to fix lawnmowers and bicycles and loved dogs. Marvin is survived by sister, Arlene (Dennis) MacKeigan; brothers, Lonnie (Sylvia) and Wayne; sister-in-law, Isabelle and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Marvin was predeceased by two brothers, Delbert and Ellsworth Clements, sisters-in-law, Janet and Helen. He will be sadly missed by his good friends Jane Deruelle, Johnny MacKay, Lonzo MacNeil and Jason MacKay, who was like a grandson to him. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Funeral service to be held Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at Patten Funeral Home & Chapel, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, 849-7520, at 2 p.m. Burial to follow in Waddens Cove Cemetery.
